Managing Partner/Cofounder

Position Responsibilities

Work closely with the team on landing new startup or corporate sponsors and funding
Lead and inspire the team in all projects including: finance, marketing and business development
Continue to build up Founders Canada community, partners, stakeholders and team
Oversee various aspects of organizational functions

Skills and Qualifications

Expertise in project management, fundraising, finance, business development or other areas
Knowledge of Canadian startup ecosystem, funding and players
Highly action-oriented towards objectives and projects
Previous experience in startups, not-for-profit or corporate
Passion for startups and helping the community
University/College degree

Marketing Coordinator


Organize and launch meetup for Founders Canada community to host awesome events
Work closely with the team on marketing projects and promoting our mission
Manage Founders Canada social media accounts to engage our audience
Organize monthly newsletter for our community via mailchimp and other platforms
Develop compelling content including blog and videos on founders interview and startups

Skills and Qualifications:

Expertise in event planning, marketing, and social media
Highly action-oriented towards objectives and projects
Passion for startups and helping the community
University degree in progress or completed

Community Coordinator

Do you have super powers in building the online community?
Do you love interacting with followers, fans and community members? This role is for you.

Projects include:
Manage Founders Canada community including Facebook and Slack Community
Develop strategic plan to build up the community and increase engagement
Respond to external inquiries regarding the organization
Assist with event planning

Expertise in community management, social media, and marketing
Superior presentation and writing skills that deliver results
Previous expertise in volunteering for not-for-profit is an asset
University/College degree in progress or completed
