Founders Canada is a new volunteer-run not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting startups in Canada. Our mission is to promote entrepreneurship and build suitable businesses right in Canada. We believe in the power of entrepreneurship in creating opportunities for all. We are currently looking for an awesome Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team! The role is flexible in terms of hours, commitment and location. This is a great opportunity to involved at the heart of Canadian startup ecosystem and community to build up the network, do something great for the community and gain expertise.
Do you have super powers in social media and PR? Can you generate organic re-tweets and followers? This role is for you.
Manage Founders Canada Twitter, Instagram account and groups
Develop strategic plan to build up community
Respond to entrepreneur’s inquiry and requests
Host Twitter chat regarding entrepreneurship topics, tips and interview CEO, founders and experts
Expertise in social media, PR, copy writing, and marketing
Superior presentation and writing skills that delivers results
Previous expertise in volunteering for not-for-profit is an asset
University/College degree in progress or completed
